Sanquin Bridge Collapse Stalls Movement
Date Uploaded: Dec 11, 2013

MONROVIA, Dec 10 (LINA) -A bridge linking Baffu-Bay Town and Sharpen in Sanquin Statutory District, Sinoe County has collapsed, Superintendent Christian Wlejleh has disclosed.

He said this situation has created a setback to the movement of people and commercial activities in the district.

Superintendent Wlejleh made the disclosure Tuesday in the Monrovia suburb of New Kru Town in an interview with the Liberia News Agency.

He said unless the bridge is urgently rehabilitated, “the district will be completely cut off” from other districts in Sinoe County.

The Superintendent is therefore appealing to government and international organizations to help re-construct the bridge in the interest of the people.
