By Robert Dixon

MONROVIA, April 5 (LINA) - As part of its decentralization policy, the Press Union of Liberia (PUL) will this year observe activities marking World Press Freedom Day (May 3rd) in Bopolu City, Gbarpolu County.

In a statement issued in Monrovia Friday, PUL Secretary General D. Kaihenneh Sengbeh said as part of this year’s observance, a reporting trip will precede the main event titled “Reporting Gbarpolu”, where journalists will travel to various parts of the county to report on development issues.

Meanwhile, the Liberian media umbrella group is requesting journalists who want to participate in the reporting trip to submit their names no later than April 20 to the office of the Union in Monrovia.
