MONROVIA Dec 6 (LINA) -The Director General of the National Archives Center, P. Bloh Sayeh, has disclosed that more than 4,300land deeds have been registered in the Center’s digital system.

She observed that the digital registration of land deeds is a government measure to prevent future land conflicts.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with the Liberia News Agency Friday, the Archives Director said if relevant land institutions work along with the National Archives Center to ensure transparent land deeds registry in Liberia, land conflicts will become a thing of the past.

Madam Sayeh noted that if government does not ensure these measures to avoid land conflict, Liberia ‘risks a land war,’ noting that even now land conflicts are going on among the people.

She said the digitalization of land deeds is one of the surest means that land issues in Liberia will be amicably resolved.
