LNBA Honors 3Judges, 2 Counsellors For Hard Work

MONROVIA May 6 (LINA) – The Liberia National Bar Association (LNBA) has honored three Judges and two counsellors as “the most Senior Counsellors-at-Law for the legal services they rendered over the years in the nation.

The judges and counsellors were also honored for their diligence and patience in the justice system and having served their country with pride.

Those honored are Judge Boima Kontoe, Resident Judge of the Ninth Judicial Circuit for Bong County; Judge Comfort Natt, Resident Judge of the National Labor Court; Judge Amy-Musu K. Jones, and Resident Judge of the Fifth Judicial Circuit for Grand Cape Mount County.

Others are Cllr. James E. Pierre of the Pierre, Tweh & Associates, and Cllr. Molley N. Gray of the Jones & Jones Law Firm.

The ceremony was part of a program marking the Liberia National Bar Association Law Day held Friday at the Criminal Court ‘A’ at the Temple of Justice in Monrovia.

LNBA president Cllr. Moses Paegar said the honorees have been some of the most senior partners who have shown how much love  they have in the work they do, adding, “Bravo to you all.”

Also in remarks, Chief  Justice Francis S. Korkpor called on all media practitioners to report “the truth, and nothing but the truth,” noting, “if you report what is not true it spoils your character as whole, but if you want to report on anything from the judiciary please call upon me I will responds to you.”
