Foreign Minister Appoints Tehmeh Press Attaché To Brussels

By Prince S. Nagbe

MONROVIA, May 1 (LINA) – Foreign Minister Marjon V. Kamara, with the approval of President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, has appointed Senve D. Tehmeh as Press Attaché to the Liberian Embassy in Brussels.

In her appointment letter to Tehmeh at the weekend, Minister Kamara noted that Senve's appointment is based on his ability, integrity and desire to serve the interest of his country.

She hoped that he will work closely and harmoniously with Liberia’s Chief of Mission in Brussels, Ambassador Isaac Nyenebo and other officers at the Embassy, and deploy his best efforts in promoting the foreign policy objectives of Liberia through the strengthening of Liberia’s relations with the Benelux countries.

Tehmeh, who is currently serving as Senior Administrative Assistant in the office of Information Minister Lenn Eugene Nagbe, has served the government for over five years in various capacities, including Administrative Assistant in the Department of Technical Services at the Ministry of Information and in similar capacity at the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Prior to taking up assignment in government, Tehmeh served as Radio Announcer and Television Presenter at Royal Communications Inc., the owner of King’s FM and Clar TV; and Account Executive at Premier Service Advertising Group, Liberia’s first post-war advertising company.

Tehmeh is a candidate for Master's Degree at the Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida School of International Relations (IBB) at the University of Liberia.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration from the African Methodist Episcopal University (AMEU) and series of professional certificates, including a Certificate in Communications and Journalism from the Information State Training Center in Beijing, the Republic of China.

Tehmeh also earned a certificate in Multi-track Diplomacy from the Cuttington Graduate School, among others.
