MONROVIA, January 23 (LINA) - SMILE Liberia International,  an education promotion group, has mobilized resources to provide educational support to 150 students in Grand Bassa and Montserrado counties.

Speaking on the UNMIL Radio “Coffee Break” show Monday, the Coordinator of
SMILE Liberia, Prince Parker, said the assistance will be in the form of book bags, uniforms, copy books and reading books that will be distributed to 125 students in Grand Bassa County next month.

Parker said they are also partnering with other schools in Montserrado like Becky Early Learning Foundation School in Barnesville; Children Hope Community School and Kingdom Care School in West Point; Bishop Roland Massaquoi School in Bong Mines Bridge and the Free Pentecostal School in Chicken Soup Factory, Monrovia.

He said SMILE Liberia has paid the school fees of 125 students in Grand Bassa
County and 25 in Montserrado County.

According to Parker, they have before now provided educational materials to the needy at the partner schools.

Smile Liberia works for social justice by helping to bring quality education to underprivileged children.

Its mission is to bring smiles to children in the poorest areas by providing them access to quality education, and to use the power of quality education to
eliminate extreme poverty.
