Media Group Honors LACE Executive Director
By Robert Dixon

MONROVIA, January 22 (LINA) - A group called “Media Against Stigma and Discrimination” under the auspices of Africa Media Network has honored the Executive Director of the Liberia Agency for Community Empowerment (LACE), Julius K. Sele, for ably overseeing the affairs of LACE in 2016.

Performing the ceremony at the LACE offices on Capitol Hill, the Vice Chairman for Outreach, Father F. Bladee, recounted the many accomplishments LACE has made in delivering on the Government of Liberia’s Community Empowerment
programs.

Bladee, who is also the Chairman of the Tandanpolie Intellectual Exchange, drew particular attention to the success GOL has scored in implementing the Legislative Support Project (LSP) through LACE in all 73 electoral districts of the country.

“Because of the able leadership Mr. Julius K. Sele is providing at LACE, our districts can today boast of tangibles in terms of implementing Legislative projects.”

Bladee recalled the difficulties experienced in carrying out projects in various electoral districts of Liberia.

He called on the LACE boss not to relent in ensuring that his management is well on course with the provision of basic infrastructure across the country, especially in hard-to-reach communities.

Responding, Mr. Sele expressed gratitude to the group for the recognition and promised to collaborate with the Liberian media to publicize all LACE activities across the country.
