Pres. Sirleaf Names Local Officials in 3 Counties

MONROVIA, January 14 (LINA) – President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has appointed local government officials in Grand Gedeh, Bong and Gbarpolu counties.

Those appointed in Grand Gedeh County are Tarley A. Weh, County Inspector; Mr. Josephus K. Garley, Relieving Commissioner; Mr. Moses C. Neah, Statutory Superintendent, Konobo Statutory District; Mr. Abraham G. Gbarduo,   Administrative District Commissioner Tchien, Administrative District; and Mr. Joseph W. Tarlue, Administrative District Commissioner Glio/Twarbo Administrative District.

Others are Mr. Dwedson Dweh, Township Commissioner, Tarlueville, Tchien Administrative District; Mr. George B. Gbarwea, Township Commissioner, B’hair Administrative District and Mr. Isaac H. Gweh, Township Commissioner, Karley Farley Township, Glio/Twarbo Administrative District.

Gbarpolu County gets Mr. Thomas Ezike as Assistant Statutory District Superintendent for Development Gbarma, Statutory District; Ms. Teresa Gbanjah, Statutory District Inspector, Gbarma Statutory District; and Mr. Momo Binda, Relieving Commissioner, Gbarma Statutory District.

Others are Mr. Alfred S. Morris, Assistant Statutory District Superintendent for Development, Bopolu Statutory District; Mr. John Sulonkolo, Statutory District Commissioner, Bopolu Statutory District and Mr. VarkpanahWymon,         Relieving Commissioner, Bopolu Statutory District.

In Bong County, Madam Viola N. Cooper was named Mayor of the City of Gbarnga. 

These appointments are subject to confirmation by the Liberian Senate where applicable.
