Prosecution 4th Witness Testifies In Darlington George Case
By Comfort M. Johnson

MONROVIA January 12 (LINA) - Prosecution 4th witness in person of Monroe Dennis, an investigator of the Liberia National Police (LNP), Thursday gave clarity on how defendants Darlington George and James Tamba assaulted Esther Glain in the Barnesville Estate community.

The two defendants appeared in court Thursday to face full trial

According to investigator Dennis, it was established that the defendant along with his bodyguard recklessly drove into victim Glain while she and her friends were having fun in the Barnersville community.

He said after this, Glain went and tapped the driver on his back and asked whether he wanted to kil them.

This apparently prompted the confusion that resulted in the beating of the victim by defendants George and Tamba, the witness said.

Investigator Dennis indicated that after conducting the investigation, the parties proceeded to the crime scene, and they were able to establish the same facts from sources.

Defendants George and Tamba were on September 13, 2016 arrested and charged with aggravated assault and criminal facilitation against Glain.

He also revealed that during the investigation with defendants George and Tamba, they denied the allegations levied against them.

The case continues tomorrow with the same witness taking the stand.
