MONROVIA, Dec 6 (LINA) -An Official of the Ministry of Justice says that the Liberian Government has officially written the Government of the United States of America requesting the extradition of Ms. Ellen Cokrum and collaborators.

Ms. Crokrum is wanted by the Liberian Government for misapplying more than one million US dollars while serving as Managing Director of the Roberts International Airport.

Attorney Lafayette B. Gould Sr., Special Assistant to Liberia’s Solicitor-General, Cllr. Betty Larmin Blamon, told the Liberia News Agency Friday that the case has been assigned for Wednesday, December 11 at the criminal Court ‘C’.

Atty. Gould said the United States Government was still studying the request since it was submitted September 2013.

Attorney Gould said all parties including the Liberia Bank for Development and Investment, Mr. Musa Bility, Chairman of the LAA Board, and others are expected to appear for trial for their alleged roles in the economic sabotage case.
