UNICCO Donates US$500K Medical Supplies To Nimba

SANNIQUELLIE, March 22 (LINA) -The United Nimba Citizens Council (UNICCO) in the United States of America has donated a consignment assorted medical supplies valued at over US$500,000 for use at major clinics and hospitals in the county.
According to UNICCO president, Rohmanda Gaye, UNICCO members in partnership with a US Company, HERO, donated the medical supplies for the citizens of Nimba.
She said the consignment will arrive in Liberia shortly for distribution to major hospitals and clinics operating in the Nimba County.
She said UNICCO has established a distribution committee, comprising the Medical Director of the Jackson F. Doe Memorial Hospital in Tappita, some prominent citizens of Nimba, and members of the UNICCO delegation, who will accompany the consignment to Liberia to identify most needy institutions.
