Half Of Robertsport Gets Safe Pipe-Borne Water - Official
By Stephen N. Sonpon

MONROVIA, October 27 (LINA) – About 50 percent of residents of Robertsport, the capital city of Grand Cape Mount County, have access to safe pipe-borne water, acting County Development Superintendent Lamine Fahnbulleh has disclosed.

Briefing journalists at the Ministry of Information weekly press conference Thursday, Fahnbulleh said the project is part of many on-going development initiatives in the county being undertaken by the Liberian government.

He did not specify the amount allotted for the project, but indicated that the funding was made available from the County Development and Social Development Funds in fulfillment of government’s bid to champion development initiatives in the county and the entire country.

“The citizens of Robertsport have suffered for a very long time for safe-drinking water, especially pipe-borne water,” he noted, adding that “this pipe-borne water will put an end to their suffering.”

Fahnbulleh then commended President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and the government for the level of development undertaken in the country thus far.
