Liberia Keen On Integration Of Health Services - Dr. Kateh
By Calvin Brooks

MONROVIA, October 20 (LINA) - Liberia’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Francis Kateh, says Liberia attaches importance to the integration of health services as a policy of Government.

He noted that in countries like Liberia where resources are scarce, program integration, where feasible, should be supported by all partners.

The Chief Medical Officer made the statement Wednesday at the start of a three-day Mano River Union (MRU) Conference on Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) and the launch of the Liberia Count-Down Research Project held in Monrovia.

Kateh said Liberia is making significant progress in the control and elimination of targeted NTDs in line with the World Health Organization (WHO) Roadmap.
