By Philip T. Singbah, LINA Bong County Correspondent

GBARNGA, October 19 ( LINA) - Police in Gbarnga, Bong County have charged a 28-year-old man, James Tamba, a resident of Forlee in Zota District, for allegedly killing one Joe Flomo.

According to the Crime Services Department of the Bong County Police Detachment, Tamba was charged with murder and aggravated assault.

According to the Police, the incident occurred on October 16 during a fist-fight between the deceased and Tamba, resulting from confusion over Flomo planting rubber in the Cocoa farm of Tamba.

The Police charge sheet indicated that during the fracas both parties hurled objects at one another, during which the deceased was hit and fell unconscious.

He was later pronounced dead by doctors upon arrival at the Phebe Hospital in Bong County.

Tamba was arrested by police moments after.

Meanwhile, suspect Tamba has been detained at the Gbarnga Central Prison awaiting prosecution.
