Police Probe Suspicious Death In Bong County
By Philip T. Singbah, LINA Bong County Correspondent

GBARNGA, October 12 (LINA) -  Police in Gbarnga, Bong County have launched a probe to establish the cause of death of a man whose body was discovered hanging from a tree along the Gbarnga-Phebe Highway.

The head of the Crime Services Department of the Bong County Police Detachment, John Kelenso Flomo, said the body was discovered on at the weekend, but the actual cause of death has not been determined.

Flomo told the Liberia News Agency in the county on Monday that the body was discovered by some community members who had gone to fetch firewood in the bush.

Meanwhile, a 15-man Coronary Jury set up to examine the body reported that there was no foul play.

It can be recalled that the body of a man was in late August discovered lying on the main road in the same vicinity.

Following an investigation, the police charged three suspects and forward them to the Gbarnga Magisterial Court for prosecution.
