Bropleh Wants Politicians Eschew Deception, Antagonism
By Decontee M. Wesseh

MONROVIA, September 26 (LINA) - Former Information Minister Lawrence Bropleh has called on Liberians, especially politicians, to refrain from acts of deception and political antagonism, which have the propensity to reverse the peace and security gains made by the country.

He observed that some Liberians are using radio talk shows, the social media and other media outlets to engage in acts of subterfuge, something which, he claimed, is not healthy for the democracy Liberians are trying to nurture.

Dr. Bropleh, who is the host of the radio talk show "Changing Mind, Changing Attitude," told the UNMIL Radio “Coffee Break” show Monday that Liberians cannot build their country for the better without recognizing that there are Liberians who have integrity and are capable of changing the country for the better.

He indicated that all Liberians should see themselves as agents of change and uphold peace, harmony, respect and dignity for the betterment of the country’s body politic.

“Liberia is not where it ought to be and is not where it used to be; that is why we all must work together to make Liberia a better place for us and our children,” Bropleh noted.

Meanwhile, Dr. Bropleh has disclosed that his program, "Changing Mind, Changing Attitude," will this dry season embark on a nationwide campaign to educate political leaders and youths to stop castigating each other and
providing wrong information during the 2017 elections.
