Zuagele Craves Citizens’ Role In Street Project
By S. Kannay Ziamo, LINA Nimba County Correspondent

GANTA, September 21 (LINA) - Nimba County Superintendent Fong Zuagele has called on citizens to collaborate with the county administration in the implementation of projects across the county.

Superintendent Zuagele wants citizens to work in partnership with the county administration by monitoring ongoing projects in their communities, providing food and shelter for local contractors and alerting authorities on acts by contractors that contravene their contractual agreement.

Speaking at the launch of the Ganta Road Project in Ganta on Tuesday, Zuagele said when these things are done by the citizens, contractors will implement projects honestly and in a timely manner.

The Ganta Road Project is an initiative of the Nimba County Administration which is geared towards improving major roads across the city to afford citizens access to their communities.

The project which kicked off in Ganta on Tuesday is expected to last for three months, with a focus on opening new streets and maintaining existing streets in the city and its immediate environs.

This is the second time the Nimba county earth-moving machines are laying out and paving streets in Ganta.

It can be recalled in 2013, the Nimba county earth-moving machines laid out over 10 new roads across the county.
