Clergyman Says ‘Liberia Needs Spiritual Leader’

By Stephen N. Sonpon

MONROVIA, September (LINA) - The Senior Pastor of the Life Center Church in Monrovia has said “Liberia needs a spiritual leader who will help transform the country.”

Folley Karpeh told the ELBC “Super Morning Show” Thursday that “there is no law without spirituality and leaders should understand what it means to lead a nation.”

According to Karpeh, political leaders should have a God-guided governmental structure that has the responsibility to meet the needs of humanity.

He added that any country whose leaders and citizens do not have spirituality and the fear of God cannot have positive manifestations, reconciliation and peace.

“It is time for Liberians to believe in God and also political leaders to have a partnership for better governance and nation building,” he noted.
