Public Works Plans Alleys For Robertsfield Highway
By Robert Dixon

MONROVIA, September 14 (LINA) - The Ministry of Public Works is to shortly begin demolishing properties encroaching on the right of way between ELWA to the Marshall junction on the Robertsfield highway to open alleyways along that route, an official has disclosed.

The alleyways are to ensure free flow of traffic along the highway, according to the Director of Communications at the Ministry of Public Works, M. Jesefu Keita.

He told the Liberia News Agency in a brief interview Wednesday that residents whose properties will be affected by the exercise will not be compensated.

He then advised residents building on the right of way along the route to the international airport to remove their personal belongings prior to the start of the exercise to avoid embarrassment.
