Justice Minister To Speak On Essential Security Matters On Tuesday

MONROVIA, September 5 (LINA) - The Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Liberia, Cllr. Frederick Cherue, will tomorrow address a special edition of the MICAT’s press conference on the recent military situation in Bomi County, Western Liberia.

Minister Cherue will also address himself to the situation of pre-trial detainees who are being held beyond the statutorily-required period.

Deputy Information Minister for Public Affairs, Isaac W. Jackson told the Liberia News Agency Monday that Minister Cherue will also speak about the departure of UNMIL and its security implications for Liberia.

Meanwhile, Deputy Minister Jackson has called on all journalists assigned at the Ministry of Information to be seated in the Charles Gbenyon Conference Hall at 10:30 a.m.
