NGO Dedicates US$3k Sanitation Facilities In Bomi
By David Pamas Seedee, LINA Bomi County Correspondent

TUBMANBURG, August 30 (LINA) - The Executive Director of Sanitation and Health Initiative in Bomi County, Jeremiah Massaquoi, has dedicated a US$3,000 a hand pump and six-room modern toilet facility in Willie Moore Town, Bomi County.

In remarks during the dedicatory ceremony Monday, Massaquoi said funding for the projects was provided by the United States-based
organization, Sanitation and Health Our Concern.

He said when every city, town and village benefits from such facilities, the health condition of the citizenry will improve and enable them to make good use of the schools, bridges, roads and markets in the county.

He then called on the County Legislative Caucus and the County Authority to focus on improving the sanitation condition of the people
to elevate them to a healthy environment.

For his part, an elder of the town, Sando Fofana, assured Massaquoi that the facilities will be maintained properly and used in the interest of the people.
