By: S.  Kannay Ziamo, LINA Nimba County Correspondent

GANTA, August 29 (LINA) – An 18-tire truck belonging to a Guinean company has crashed along the Ganta-Monrovia highway, leaving ten persons seriously injured.

The truck bearing license plate number EP-7927-A RG was heading to Monrovia from Guinea recently when two of its front tires punctured while descending a hill around Kpain Town, some 15 minutes drive from Ganta.

According to an eyewitness, the truck was one of seven belonging to a rubber company in Guinea called Soguiepa that were heading to Monrovia to take delivery of some materials for the company.

The eyewitness told the Liberia News Agency that the ten persons, including the driver of the truck, are currently undergoing medical treatment at the Ganta United Methodist Hospital in Ganta, Nimba County.
