Church Donates Supplies To Gov’t Hospital In Tubmanburg
By David Pamas Seedee, LINA Bomi County Correspondent

TUBMANBURG, August 25 (LINA) - The United Pentecostal Church of Liberia has donated a consignment of medical supplies to the Liberia Government Hospital in Tubmanburg, Bomi County.

Making the presentation of Personal Protective Equipment Equipment (PPE) and gloves Wednesday, Bishop Stephen Binda said the items were given to the hospital through the aid of one of the church’s partners abroad.

Bishop Binda said as a church, they have realized the need to give the supplies to the hospital to enhance its capacity to adequately cater to the medical needs of the people.

The Bishop did not give the total value of the medical supplies, but assured the hospital administration that the church will continue to assist it to render the requisite services to save the lives of people in the county.

Receiving the items, Officer- In-Charge Amelia Gbemei said the items were “very essential” as they will help solve some of the medical needs of the government hospital.

Gbemei assured the church that the medical consignment will be used for the intended purpose.
