By Chris Nyenapee, LINA Grand Gedeh County Correspondent

ZWEDRU CITY, March 15 (LINA) -The new country director of German Agro Action/Welthungerhilfe (GAA/WHH), Asja  Hanano, has assured that the organization will exert efforts within the next three years to reach out to neglected areas in Grand Gedeh, River Gee and Sinoe Counties.

Miss Hanano takes over as head of mission for GAA/WHH, a German INGO which focuses on resettlement and re-integration in southeastern Liberia.

The international NGO has brought relief to citizens and residents of Grand Gedeh, River Gee and Sinoe counties, by building bridges and upgrading critical areas on feeder roads.

GAA/WHH also built the capacities of farmers, constructed health and educational facilities, as well as hand-pumps for the people.

“Please   inform the German Government of our appreciation and gratitude for this NGO (GAA/WHH), and we will ensure a good working relationship with the staff for the good of our people,” Grand Gedeh County Superintendent Peter L. Solo said in a statement.
