ZWEDRU CITY, March 15 (LINA) -Grand  Gedeh  superintendent  Peter  L. Solo has set up a committee  to  create  awareness against mob violence in Grand Gedeh County,  following the national launch of the campaign on January  25 this  year.

The  nine- man  committee  is  chaired  by  Grand Gedeh County Project Planner, Washington Saa Yonly,  with the UNMIL Public  Information  Coordinator  for  Sector  3B, Napoleon Viban as  co-chair for technical  affairs .

The Liberia National Police, Federation of Liberian Youth, women groups, civil society groups, heads of UNMIL field offices and INGOS operating in the county, as well as community watch teams will also form part of the committee.

The county  anti-mob  violence  campaign  is  expected  to  be  launched  on  March  18  at the Reconciliation Center in Zwedru,  to  be followed  by a parade through the principal street of Zwedru.
