Jurors Find Pastor Guilty Of Murder
By Comfort M. Johnson

MONROVIA, August 18 (LINA) –The Pastor of the Community Church in Paynesville, James Mulbah, has been unanimously found guilty of murdering 23- year-old Patrick Yeaney on March 22 by an empanelled jury.

The jury, comprising seven men and five women, unanimously found Mulbah guilty after careful consideration of all evidence adduced during the trial.

Two of the jurors came down with a not guilty verdict.

The Presiding Judge of Criminal Court “A”, Judge Roosevelt Willie indicated that ten of the 12 petit jurors adjudging the defendant guilty shows that he is guilty.

Mulbah was arrested by police on April 16 and charged with murder.

During preliminary investigation he admitted stabbing Yeaney multiple times during a fist fight on suspicion of having a love affair with his wife Hannah Mulbah.

According to Mulbah, he had suspected his wife of having a relationship with Yeaney, but could not prove it until he saw her with him after she had packed her belongings and left their residence.

He said this led to the fight during which he stabbed Yeaney to death and fled to Bomi County where he was later arrested and brought to Monrovia.

Meanwhile, Judge Willie has announced that final ruling in the case will be rendered on Monday, August 29.
