FED Donates Electronic Devices To Nimba College

By Wellington Patrick, Nimba County Correspondent

SANNIQUELLIE, March 13 (LINA) -Food and Enterprise Development (FED), a non-governmental organization, has donated several electronic devices to the Nimba County Community College (NCCC).

Devices donated to the college were 13 desktop computers, three scanners, 13 voltage regulators, a projector, three printers and three uninterrupted power supply (UPS) gadgets.

Making the presentation Tuesday, the Coordinator of FED Nimba County branch, Horace Yansei, said the computers and other devices are for use in the library when construction work on the facility is completed.

He disclosed that FED had earlier signed a memorandum of understanding with the college, to furnish its library and install an internet system, to help improve the learning environment at the institution.

The NCCC President Yar Gono, who received the equipment, thanked the FED and the USAID through which funding for the donation was provided.

FED is a USAID sponsored program working with colleges and universities in Liberia to develop agricultural activities and training.
