Woman Charged For Missing Child

By John Bropleh, Maryland County Correspondent

HARPER, March 13 (LINA) -A woman has been charged with “kidnapping, felonious restraint and interference with child custody” in connection with a 14-month-old baby who went missing in Pula Town, Maryland County, about three weeks ago.

Identified as Mende Clarke, the woman was charged with multiple crimes by the Harper City Magisterial Court and sent to the 4th Judicial Circuit Court in the county for prosecution.

The transfer of Madam Clarke to the Circuit Court Tuesday, followed pre-trial investigation by the Magisterial Court for her alleged involvement in the disappearance of the baby girl.

Meanwhile, the people of Pulah Town have relaxed the search for the missing baby, as there is no trace of her after a massive search.
