GBARNGA, August 8 (LINA) - Bong County Senator Jewel Taylor says she is impressed with ongoing renovation work on the Tumutu Vocational Training Center and the Jowarh Hospital in Panta and Salala Districts respectively.

Senator Taylor said the two projects are nearing completion and described the recent dedication of the Belletanda Health Center as a major breakthrough in the provision of healthcare services in the district.

Sen. Taylor made the statement in an interview with the Liberia News Agency in Gbarnga, Bong County recently.

The construction of the Belletanda Health Center, Jorwah Hospital and Tesely Mission are part of Senator Taylor’s Legislative projects funded by the government through the Liberia Agency for Community Empowerment (LACE).

According to Senator Taylor, the Tumutu Vocational Training Center renovation which is being funded through the national budget will, when completed, boost the county’s technical vocation educational system.

She praised President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf for allotting money in the budget for the projects.

The Bong County lawmaker also expressed satisfaction over the Gbarnga Street pavement project and hoped that everyone involved will exercise due diligence to ensure its timely completion.
