By David Pamas Seedee, LINA Bomi County Correspondent

TUBMANBURG, August 8 (LINA) – Montserrado County District #6 Representative Edwin Snowe has donated generators and cash to several institutions in Senjeh District, Bomi County.

According to the Liberia News Agency Correspondent in Bomi County, Representative Snowe, who is also Proprietor of Snowe & Sons Pumah Farm in Weakama, Senjeh District, donated L$200,000  and a 2.5 Kva generator to the Tubmanburg Central Market.

He also donated four 2.5 kva generators to the Sackie, Kayiah Hill, Beafini and Jomo Towns clinics in Senjeh District, as well as L$100,000 to the youth to carry out a clean-up campaign in the district.

Making the donations, Representative Snowe said the gesture was intended to empower personnel of the clinics to effectively perform their duties, especially at night.

He noted that the generators will make it unnecessary for health workers at the clinics to use lights from their phones to deliver pregnant women at night at the clinics.

The Montserrado County lawmaker did not indicate the cost of the donated generators.
