MONROVIA, August 4 (LINA) – The Monrovia City Court at the Temple of Justice has detained two men at the Monrovia Central Prison on charges of criminal conspiracy and armed robbery.
Mamadee Kamara and Emmanuel Johnson were on July 18 arrested by the Liberia National Police based upon a complaint filed by Mr. George Borbor alleging that the two defendants broke into his house and made away several valuables items and cash.
Borbor claimed that the duo entered his house through the roof while he was asleep and severely wounded him.
The alleged criminals were on Wednesday arraigned before the Court to answer to the charges levied against them.
According to the Police Charge Sheet, the men were armed with cutlasses, knives and single barrel guns and threatened to harm the complainant if he did not give them what they wanted.
During Police investigation, the two men admitted to the crime and are currently been held behind bars awaiting trial.
