Prelate Warns Against Indecent Dress Code
By Derrick G, Menkarzon
MONROVIA, August 1(LINA) - The Pastor of God’s Grace Anointed Ministry (GGAM) on Duport Road in Paynesville outside Monrovia, Henry Edogbeji, is urging Liberians, specifically females, to desist from dressing indecently as such is against the principle of God.
Edogbeji observed that some women nowadays refuse to dress in a pleasant manner, noting that they are "partially naked in public places," noting that such act shows no respect and fear for Almighty God.
Delivering a sermon drawn from Ezekiel Chapter 2, to his congregation on Sunday, Edogbeji blamed such practice by young Liberian girls on the lack of parental supervision and discipline, noting that it is a contributing factor to the disorderly behavior of many children.
He urged Liberians to be mindful and devote themselves to the worship of the true God as the Day of Judgment is at hand.
Edogbeji wants parents to exercise control by regulating the dress codes of their children, adding," children should not have their own ways because they belong to God and their body is the temple of God.”
He also wants Liberians to repent and confess their wrongdoings, and should not wait until it is too late to do so.
