GBARNGA, Aug 1 (LINA) - A 16-year-old girl was over the weekend electrocuted on Kokoyah Road in Gbarnga, Bong County.

Mayamah Nagbe was electrocuted while hanging her baby’s clothes on a nearby fence in the community.

Eyewitnesses told the Liberia News Agency that Nagbe was electrocuted by a cut electrical wire from a telephone booth while hanging the clothes.

She was immediately rushed to the Phebe Hospital where she wasbpronounced dead upon arrival.

Meanwhile, several residents of Gbarnga have expressed regret over the death of Nagbe and are calling on the Gbarnga City Corporation to remove all unsafe wires in the city.

Gbarnga is said to be flooded with unprotected electrical wires, with many installed by non-electricians.
