House and Senate Congratulate VP Boakai for His Election

MONROVIA, July 21 (LINA)- Messages of congratulations continue to pour into the office of Vice President Joseph N. Boakai for his ascendancy as Standard Bearer of the Unity Party.

In his Congratulatory Message to the Vice President, House Speaker Alex Tyler hoped that VP Boakai will bring a new dimension to the Party that he served as Vice
Standard Bearer for the past ten years.

A release from the office of the Vice President also quoted Senate President Pro-Tempore Armah Jallah as saying that he was “persuaded that the confidence imbued in the VP is a result of his commitment, devotion, and dedication to duties and responsibilities as a partisan who has worked assiduously over the years to earn the trust and respect of his fellow partisans. Jallah wished the VP well as he endeavors to lead the Unity Party in Liberia’s first democratic transition after years of unrest.
