MONROVIA, June 23 (LINA) - The Press Union of Liberia (PUL) has assured the National Bureau of Concessions (NBC) of its commitment to showcase the bureau’s activities in rural communities through media outlets across the country.

The commitment was made by PUL President K. A. Kamara through his proxy Mr. Samuel Dweh in Gbarnga City, Bong County on Wednesday at the end of a two-day workshop on compliance Monitoring and Building Synergies with parties in the administration of concessions.

The workshop was organized by the NBC with sponsorship from the United States Agency for International Development -Governance Economic Management System (UASID-GEMS).

He appealed to the NBC and its partners to constantly interact with the PUL on convincing journalists to constantly propagate the NBC’S concession-related massages in and around Liberia and beyond.

According to him, currently there are 100 community radio stations in the 15 counties of Liberia and that all of them are part of the PUL, stressing that the NBC needs to engage them through the PUL to provide information to those communities about NBC’s activities.
