Tubmanburg Market Official Appeals For Social Services
By David Pamas Seedee, LINA Bomi County Correspondent

TUBMANBURG, June 14 (LINA) - The Superintendent of the Tubmanburg Central Market, Madam Konba Barry, is appealing to the County Administration and partners to construct a toilet, hand pump and school for the kids of marketers.

In an interview with the Liberia News Agency (LINA) in Tubmanburg, Bomi County Monday, Madam Barry said the market lacks these basic facilities, noting that this is creating problems for the marketers.

Madam Barry also told LINA that the entire market building is leaking; a situation that has led to the destruction of their tables and goods.

She observed that if nothing is done urgently to renovate the market building, the marketers will abandon the structure, something that will not be in the interest of the people of Tubmanburg.

The Tubmanburg Central Market hosts over 300 marketers.
