Citizens Building Nurses Quarter In Porkpa District
By D. Ignatius Roberts, LINA Grand Cape Mount County Correspondent

ROBERTSPORT, June 6 (LINA) - Citizens of Porkpa District in Grand Cape Mount County have embarked on the construction of a nurses quarter at the Zimi-Bamballa Clinic.

The Chairman of Community Health Development Committee, Momo Kambo, told reporters recently that the project started early April and is expected to be completed in December, 2016.

Kambo did not disclose the amount provided from the County Development Fund for the project.

He said the citizens have decided to construct the dwelling for nurses to ensure that health workers assigned to the clinic do not pay rent, since they are providing healthcare services to the people of the district.
