New Appointments in Government

MONROVIA, March 11 (LINA) - President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf has made new appointments at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Financial Intelligence Unit and the National Transit Authority.

Those appointed are Ms. Ardia Kaikai, Assistant Minister for Afro-Asian Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Messrs. Alexander N. Cuffey and Gabriel W. Bellepea as Director and Deputy Director respectively at the Financial Intelligence Unit at the Finance Ministry.

Also appointed is Mrs. Ruth Caesar, Chairman of the Board of Directors, National Transit Authority.

The appointments are subject to confirmation by the Liberian Senate, where applicable.
