By S. Kannay Ziamo, LINA Ganta, Nimba County Correspondent

GANTA, April 20 (LINA) - About 50 in-service teachers and church leaders in Ganta, Nimba County are attending a three-day seminar to promote academic excellence and the gospel in Liberia.

The seminar, which ends Wednesday, is organized under the auspices of the Christian Foundation Liberia (CFL), an organization involved in the training of rural in-service teachers in Rivercess, Montserrado and Nimba counties in collaboration with Crossway.

Speaking at the opening session, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Crossway International, Rev. Dean Chollar, said the seminar is meant to build the capacity of teachers and church leaders.

Chollar expressed joy for the willingness of participants to learn and urged them to fully utilize what they are being taught.

The participants expressed gratitude for the training, saying it will bring them in contact with many things they have never known in their respective schools and churches.
