Missing Child Found Beheaded n Rivercess
By Togar Christian Chea, LINA Rivercess County Correspondent

CESTOS CITY, April 9 (LINA) -The body of a four-year-old child who mysteriously disappeared recently in Teekpeh Town, Kploh Chiefdom in Rivercess County, has been found beheaded.

The child, whose name is being withheld, was the son of Arthur Paygar, a resident of Teekpeh Town.

The body of the child, who went missing on Sunday, April 3, was found in the area on Tuesday, April 5, beheaded by yet unknown individuals.

The man, who was accused by citizens of being the perpetrator, was flogged mercilessly by an angry crowd and is presently undergoing medical treatment at the St. Francis Hospital in Cestos City.

Elder Daniel Kekeh Glaywulu, who was rescued by his family members, said he was accused falsely and has called for the Justice Ministry’s intervention in the case.

Mysterious disappearances of citizens and subsequent mob violence have over the years increased in Kploh Chiefdom due to the absence of law enforcement officers in the area.
