Growing Drug Use Worries Bomi Superintendent
By David Pamas Seedee, LINA Bomi County Correspondent

TUBMANBURG, April 3 (LINA) - Bomi County Superintendent Samuel Brown has expressed concern over the growing number of drug use centers on Sime Darby Plantation and in Gbar Town in Klay District.

Superintendent Brown said due to the growing number of ‘ghettoes’ in these areas, he fears that the young people could get involved and eventually become hooked on drugs.

Speaking in an interview with the Liberia News Agency recently in Tubmanburg, Brown said the six-man committee set up in the county recently will work with the security apparatus to destroy the ghettoes, including one notorious center in Tubmanburg.

According to Superintendent Brown, if nothing is done to disband the many drug centers in the county, it will damage the future of the young people.
