Grand Kru Village Road 90%Completed

By Ballah M. Kollie, Reporting from Grand Kru County

BARCLAYVILLE, April 3 (LINA) -Ninety percent of construction work on the US$25,000 five-mile road connecting Keetic Wloki with the rest of Grand Kru County has been completed, Senator Peter Coleman has disclosed.

Keetic Wloki is in Sasstown, Grand Kru County, about five miles from the main road to Sinoe County.

Coleman told the Liberia News Agency in an interview in Barclayville over the weekend that the town of over 1,000 people never had road connectivity, adding that the project is his personal initiative in response to the needs of the citizens.

“As a social worker, giving back to people through service is what I know best,” he said, adding, “Moreover, this is how I decided to spend my Easter break.”

Among other projects being implemented is the construction of a clinic in Buah, Doe Swen and two other places, Coleman revealed.
