Rape Victim’s Father Calls For Justice
By S. Kannay Ziamo, LINA Ganta, Nimba County Correspondent

GANTA, March 31 (LINA) -The father of a 12-year-old girl who was recently raped in Ganta, Nimba County is appealing to local authorities to ensure that justice prevails in the case involving his daughter and a Pastor.

The girl (name withheld), was recently allegedly sexually abused by the 38-year-old Pastor (name also withheld) of a church in Ganta.

In an interview with the Liberia News Agency Wednesday, the victim's father, Mr. Celestine Addmoore, explained that since the incident, his daughter has been facing serious health problems, including severe pain in her stomach.

Mr. Addmore also said he has been spending a lot of money on transportation and medication, among others, on the victim.

He is therefore appealing that justice prevails in this case and other cases of similar nature, noting that doing so will discourage people who are involved in such inhumane act.

Meanwhile, the accused pastor has been forwarded to the 8th Judicial Circuit Court in Sanniquillie for prosecution.
