By Johnson Liway, Grand Bassa County Correspondent

BUCHANAN, March 8 (LINA) - The Project Planner for Grand Bassa County, Mr. Christian Logan, has outlined projects undertaken by the county administration in 2013 with funds from  the County and Social Development Funds.

In an interview with the Liberia News Agency Friday, Mr. Logan named the construction of one health center in Zondoe Town, District Number 4, one clinic in District Number 1, a ten- classroom junior high school in the Own Your Own Community in Buchanan, along with two hand-pumps, a kitchen and one pit latrine.

He said all of these projects were completed, furnished and dedicated.

Logan said a new town hall was also constructed in Taye Town, Neekreen in District Number 2 to accommodate the growing population in that area.

He said ongoing projects are the Gorblee Health Center in District Number 4 sponsored by the United Methodist Church (UMC), a 24-mile road in District Number 4 connecting Nyonbeng Town to Grand Kola Beach and a 20-mile road leading to Zwehgar Town in District Number 3.

The Grand Bassa Project Planner also named a 12-km road from Camphor to Kwehgoe Town in Dorzohn in District Number 3 as an ongoing project.

Meanwhile, Mr. Logan has disclosed that the development agenda for 2014 will be released when bidding processes are completed along with the PPCC.

He has also appealed to central Government to release the County Development Fund (CDF) on time to ensure that development projects are executed before the rainy season this year.
