Medical Director Wants Robertsport Hospital Fenced
By D. Ignatius Roberts, LINA Grand Cape Mount County Correspondent

ROBERTSPORT, February 16 (LINA) -The Medical Doctor of the St. Timothy Government Hospital in Robertsport, Grand Cape Mount County has called for the fencing of the facility to protect it from trespassers.

Dr. Sekou S.Keita made the call in Sinje Town recently when he was honored by Radio Cape Mount as “Medical Doctor of the Year 2015” for his invaluable services to the station and the country over the years.

Keita pointed out that the hospital is currently vulnerable to criminals as they can easily enter the facility at any time and steal valuables belonging to the hospital, workers and patients, adding that “this will also prevent people from using the facility as a road to get to their destinations.”

Keita then appealed to government and health-related national and international partners operating in the country to help in this direction.

Meanwhile, the Medical Director has commended the staff of the hospital for the “effective role they played” during the fight against the deadly Ebola Virus Disease in 2014 and 2015.
