Public Defender Urges Citizens To Be Law-Abiding
By D. Ignatius Roberts, LINA Grand Cape Mount County Correspondent

ROBERTSPORT, February 13 (LINA) - Grand Cape Mount County Public Defender, Cllr. Boima Paasewe, has called on citizens of the county to be law-abiding and utilize the court system to seek redress.

Public Defender Paasewe made the call in remarks at the official opening of the 5th Judicial Circuit Court in Robertsport, Grand Cape Mount County for its February Term recently.

He assured the County Attorney and Judge of the Court that he will work with them for speedy trials to avoid cases dragging on for protracted periods without hearing.

Cllr. Paasewe said the fast-tracking of cases will help to reduce cases on the court’s docket as well as bring credibility to the court system.

He said as Public Defender he will not hesitate to represent those who do not have lawyers to seek their legal interest and those who may not have money to hire lawyers.
