NGO Provides L$240k Loan To Western Region Youth Network
By David Pamas Seedee

TUBMANBURG, February 9 (LINA) -A local NGO, the Royal Christian Foundation (RCF), has provided over 264,000 Liberian dollars as Micro-Finance Loan to the Western Region Youth Network in Klay and Twehr Districts in Bomi County.

Presenting the loans to the Youth Network in the districts recently, RCF founder Isaac Flowers said the loan is intended to reduce poverty in the districts.

He noted that government does not have a responsibility to provide loans to its citizens, but rather to transform the country’s health, education and agriculture sectors and develop road networks for its citizens.

RCF gave the loans to six business women in the two districts as Phase Two of the loan project.

He cautioned the women to be honest enough to pay back the loans to empower the organization to reach out to other citizens.

Receiving the loan, the Youth Network Chief Executive Officer in Bomi County, Thomas Washington, thanked Mr. Flowers for identifying with the people in the Western Region.

He observed that in order for business women to become successful they need to be assisted.
