Pres. Sirleaf Visits Liberian Mission In Addis Ababa

MONROVIA, February 1 (LINA) -Following the close of the 26th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the African Union, President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf visited the Liberian Embassy in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

According to a dispatch from Addis Ababa, during a meeting with the Embassy staff, the Liberian leader commended them for their commitment to Liberia and acknowledged that things have changed greatly at the Mission due to their commitment and dedication to Liberia.

She recognized the long services and commitment of two Ethiopian employees who have worked for the Mission for 47 and 34 years respectively.

A caretaker, Mr. Gebre Michael, who has worked for the Mission for 47 years will be retired and honored at an investiture ceremony in Monrovia with the cost of his travel paid for by the Government of Liberia.
