Foundation Graduates 30 Youth Drivers
By Philip T. Singbah, LINA Bong County Correspondent

GBARNGA, January 21 (LINA) -Thirty youths have been awarded certificates in driving after two-month training in basic driving skills in Yandinwoun Clan, Bong County.

The training was intended to provide rural youths skills in driving and was sponsored by the Hezekiah Siakor Foundation.

Speaking at the graduation program, the President of the Federation of Road Transport Unions Bong County branch, George Johnson Flomo, praised the foundation for the program intended to prepare the youths for the job market.

Flomo noted that it takes “the truest sense of humanity and patriotism for anyone to provide opportunities for others.”

He said driving is a profession and people who pursue it must do so with caution and self-respect.

Also speaking, the program sponsor Hezekiah Siakor praised the people of Yandinwoun for accepting the training exercise and called on them to remain focused.

Siakor, who is manager of the Regional Security Hub in Gbarnga, also reminded the graduates to follow traffic regulations by obtaining their driver licenses.
