54 Receive Associate Degrees At BCCC
By David Pamas Seedee, LINA Bomi County Correspondent

TUBMANBURG, January 20 (LINA) -The Bomi County Community College (BCCC) in Tubmanburg City has awarded associate degrees to 54 students in various academic and vocational disciplines.

Some students graduated in nursing, accounting, business education and agriculture, while others were awarded certificates in mechanics and carpentry, among others.

Delivering the keynote address at the ceremony, Bomi County Senator Morris Saytumah challenged the graduates to continue to strive for higher education in order to make meaningful contributions to the development of society.

Saytumah noted that the advancement of education in the country does not only rest with one party, but rather the combined efforts and commitment of school administrators, students, government and other stakeholders.

He cautioned the graduates to encourage unity and peace wherever they are in society, if they are to be successful.
